TWiNW: Judy

Author JudyJudy read a new and very different version of an ending scene in See That House, in which Kate confronts Marshall, accusing him of being part of the sex-trafficking ring.  It’s a logical conclusion, considering he kidnapped her and Charles, and kept them in the same house, in the same manner, as the kidnapped girls.

He denies it and gives her names to prove his innocence.

We discussed that Marshall seems more human now, and the question of whether a man who has agonized from the beginning of the book over the murder he committed, would really hunt down and kill the bad guys–who are also childhood friends.
